On our second collaboration with Starwood Hotels, we were asked to create 11 videos that would celebrate the launch of Starwood’s new partnership with Uber car service. The videos were to stand alone, highlighting each of the different units involved in the partnership, as well as present one cohesive piece of content. The main distribution was on Instagram, linking each video to the next and generating a content adventure for the viewer. One main focus for us was to reference the Starwood Preferred Guest program, which allows guests to build up points while using Uber’s partnership program. We created all 11 short form videos in stop motion and added the coins in digitally in post-production. The campaign was talked about by numerous online publications such as USA TODAY, Business Wire, The New York Times, Mashable, Market Watch, and many others.
