1. Scope

Visual Country (“Visual Country,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you visit visualcountry.com and any related pages or features that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the “Site”).

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Site, including information you submit through our contact forms, as well as certain information collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

2. Information We Collect

We may collect information that you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, company name, phone number if provided, project details, message content, resume or portfolio materials if you apply for a role or opportunity, and any other information you choose to send through our contact forms or by email.

We also collect certain information automatically when you use the Site. This may include your IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device information, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, interactions with the Site, dates and times of access, and information collected through cookies, pixels, and similar tracking technologies.

We may receive information from service providers that support our Site and communications, including analytics providers, advertising partners, website hosting providers, form processors, and email providers.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to operate and improve the Site; respond to inquiries; evaluate project opportunities; communicate with you; review employment or contractor submissions; monitor Site performance; understand how visitors use the Site; measure the effectiveness of marketing and advertising; protect the Site and our business; comply with legal obligations; and enforce our terms, rights, and policies.

4. Cookies, Analytics, and Advertising Technologies

The Site uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies to support core site functions, understand site traffic and user behavior, and measure the performance of marketing efforts.

We currently use Google Analytics, including GA4, to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics may collect information such as pages visited, time spent on pages, device and browser information, and interactions with the Site.

We also use Meta Pixel to help measure ad performance, understand visitor actions on the Site, build audiences, and support remarketing or interest-based advertising on Meta platforms.

You can manage cookies through your browser settings. If we provide a cookie banner or preference center on the Site, you may also use those controls to manage non-essential cookies. Blocking some cookies may affect how parts of the Site function.

5. Contact Forms and Communications

When you submit a contact form on the Site, your submission may be processed by Formspree and delivered to us through Gmail / Google Workspace or related business email tools. We use this information to review your inquiry, communicate with you, and manage potential client or business relationships.

Please do not send highly sensitive personal information through the contact form unless it is reasonably necessary for your request.

6. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information with service providers that perform services on our behalf, including website hosting providers, analytics providers, advertising and marketing partners, form processing providers, email and productivity providers, and professional advisors.

We may also disclose information: (a) if required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request; (b) to protect our rights, property, or safety, or those of others; (c) to detect, investigate, or prevent fraud, security incidents, or unlawful activity; or (d) in connection with an actual or proposed merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, bankruptcy, or similar business transaction.

7. Third-Party Services and Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites, embedded content, or social media features. Those third parties may collect information in accordance with their own privacy notices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of third-party sites, platforms, or services that are not controlled by Visual Country.

8. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to respond to inquiries, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and the reason it was collected.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. However, no security measure is perfect, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain personal information we maintain about you, and the right to appeal a denial where required by law.

To make a privacy-related request, please contact us using the contact information below. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising rights available to you under applicable law.

11. California Privacy Notice

If you are a California resident, you may have rights under California privacy law, including the right to know, delete, and correct certain personal information, as well as the right to opt out of certain uses of data defined by law as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell personal information for money.

In the preceding 12 months, the categories of personal information we may have collected include identifiers and contact details, internet or network activity information, and commercial or professional information you submit through inquiries. We collect and use these categories for the business and commercial purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

California residents may also designate an authorized agent to make certain requests on their behalf, subject to verification requirements.

12. Do Not Track

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is not yet a universally accepted standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, the Site does not currently respond to those signals unless required by applicable law.

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the Site. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us so we can review and delete the information if appropriate.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page and revise the effective date above.
