After a very successful holiday campaign we did with BBDO Atlanta and Home Depot in 2024, they came back to us for a spring campaign. For this they wanted to showcase all the different elements to spring cleaning both inside and outside the home.
This time they wanted to create 3 short form videos to launch all their spring deals. We crafted each set in our studio, in the middle of the winter. While two out of three sets were fairly simple, our third set was building an outdoor lawn that needed to be cut. Finding long grass in freezing weather turned out to be impossible, so we used a large sheet of turf grass with a tall pile. However, we still needed the grass to start out even longer and more unruly. To create that untouched lawn look, we glued extra long strands of grass into our turf, so we could cut it back down to its original length.
The videos turned out so well that our clients created extra versions that could be used as evergreen content.
