For SunChips we worked with Tombras Group to bring to life the unveiling of the two new flavors SunChips was releasing for the 2024 Solar Eclipse. In light of the Eclipse the limited time edition bag was only available for 4 minutes and 27 seconds, during totality. Our mission was to create 5 videos and 7 still images for their campaign launch. Our team produced the videos and stills in our studio in a quick, one day shoot, bringing space down to earth. We shot all video on a Blackmagic Pocket 6K Pro and Canon Cine Lenses. We used a mix of RGB LEDs and warm dedolights to create the celestial setting. Still photography was shot on a Canon Mark iv, with Profoto lights and gels to create the multi color effect. 5x main video in 4 aspect ratios (wide, square, vertical and 4×5) Total Assets: 27 individual assets delivered. We started the process by collaborating with Tombras on the treatment for each video. There were many variations of the videos that were shot, including the use of golden gloves with a hand model. This was to allow for flexibility in the edit. We eventually settled on the final versions. We created the sets and selected all the props. The client used the videos on a variety of platforms, including social, OLV and paid media. The assets were picked up by multiple news sources including, space.com, Food & Wine, All Recipes, Fox Business, PR Newswire, Trendhunter.com and many more.Project Information
